
Charles II, "the wise"
Carlo Allessandro II of Viola (1727-1801) was the second King of Viola, ruling from 1761-1801. He was known as King Charles "the wise", since he loved books and was an avid historian. Much loved by his people, he became a lengend in his own time. Upon his death, thousands of people took to mourning. He was succeded by his son Giovanni I in 1801.
