Alessandro II of Viola (1629-1694) was the third king of Viola, from 1655-1694. He was born to king Alessandro I and his wife. Of their four kids, he was the only son. He married French noblewoman Marie Arsenault. Their marriage was unhappy, as they were unable to have children. In 1654, she was pregnant, but died of the fever. He remarried in 1656, this time with the daugher of King Charles II of the Navonian Kingdom, Princess Christina. She had a daughter, Marie (1657-1663) and a son Francesco (1659-1666), who died in infancy. In 1661, she bore him a son, Alessandro, who survived infancy. Christina would die in childbirth in 1664. Upon Alessandro's death in 1694, his son Alessandro would become king.
